NOT YOUR AVERAGE TOURIST

Hi,
What an absolutely great time we have been having here in the wonderful country of France. The Royers have been excellent hosts, and have become good friends. Everyone we have met has been most gracious, and all have made sacrifices to make our stay memorable. We have been shown sites and sights that most tourists never have the opportunity to see. We have eaten more varieties of cheese this last week than we have in the last few decades. We have been able to see and experience a French family in their home and participate in their daily activities. I have even walked to the local boulangerie (bread and pasterie shop) on my own to buy the bread for the day. My health has been good until today, June 21, and I needed to stay home from the planned activities to rest and recuperate. But I say that for as much as we have been doing, that charts an excellent report. The lack of blog entries is two fold, we have been so busy the last few days that there has been little time for entries and we are also experiencing some problems with Mom’s computer and connecting to the Internet. Well I will try to get a few more photos posted as I am now connected to the web. I love you all and wish you could all be here to experience this visit with us.
